Splice too big to install a hitch breaker? Want to take the hitch breaker off without feeding 200' of rope through it? Want a mid-line hitch breaker but worry about it coming apart an losing it? 

Semi-permanent hitch breaker. This unit has two sets of male-female couplers allowing the user to install on a rope and lock into place. This is a secure locking setup and will not come apart accidentally, leading to loss pieces. 

*If the user wishes to have a mid-line hitch breaker that is easier to come apart, for placing on different ropes then you may may insert the couplers and pry the pair apart, breaking off the male nipples. This will get rid of the second locking function, making it easier to remove off the rope.
